Programming VPGL is editing each grid tile, set operation, option, and in-out settings. To edit each tile, tap/click on the grid tile. Tapping/Clicking position on target tile makes different operation on its tile. There is 5 positions below.
Single tap/click around center
Zone 0 is on a center around of target tile. Tapping on this zone make you able to change method and option value by opening a dialog as below.
You can change selection of OP NAME combo box (choice menu). This menu lists all available methods include both built-in and user defined. It also include “—EMPTY—” item which makes this tile to blank, See below.
OK button closes this dialog with dialog setting. Note that if you change OP NAME(method), input/output settings will be cleared. Be careful.
Cancel button closes this dialog without change anything.
Delete button closed this dialog with delete content of the target grid.
Double tap/click around center
Double tapping around center of both empty/not empty grid. Displaying will be enlarged. You can back to non-magnifying/normal display mode by Double tapping around center of grid again. In enlarged displaying mode, each gird has its grid index at left upper corner of grids.
Tap/click and hold around center.
ZONE 0: Tapping then holding touch about 0.5 sec around center of gird will enter “MOVING MODE”. In moving mode, target grid will displayed like as:
Then Tap-and-hold on other gird, the target grid moves to this tapping grid with overwriting, and the target grid will be blank. In moving mode, any other operation will cancel moving mode.
Single tap/click near edge.
ZONE 1 – 4: Tapping near each edges sets/cancels input arrow of this tile. Tapping blank side zone will be assigned to input 0, input 1 and so on. Tapping side which is already assigned, this side will be cancelled assignment and set it to blank.
Double tap/click near edge
ZONE 1 – 4: double tapping near each edges sets/cancels output arrow of this tile. Double tapping blank side zone will be assigned to output 0, output 1 and so on. Double tapping side which is already assigned, this side will be cancelled assignment and set it to blank.
Operation on Grid
Following Grid operations are available in “–Choice Ops–” menu. Note that they are all not unable to undo.
- Clear This Method
Making all tiles in displaying grid to blank. - Delete This Method
Deleting current displayed method. This is the counter operation of NEW METHOD. - Expand
Expanding current grid for 3×3 to 5×5 or 5×5 to 7×7. The positions of all tile is preserved. - Shrink
Shrinking current grid for 7×7 to 5×5 or 5×5 to 3×3. The positoins of all tile is preserved. But cut-off tiles are deleted. They don’t reappear by expanding operation. - Shift Down/Up/Left/Right
Shifting 1 step all tiles in current grid for specified direction. Counter side tiles are fill by blank. Pushed out tiles are discarded. They don’t reappear by counter-side shift operation.
